Microsoft is the biggest player in the search market, with more than $9 billion in search revenue in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Bing search revenue increased by almost $500 million year-over-year to $3.3 billion.
The company added an additional $5.1 billion to its search revenue during the quarter, according to a report from Business Insider.
Bing’s market share has grown steadily since the company bought AOL in 2013.
In the fourth-quarter of 2016, Bing’s search revenue was $2.5 per user, up from $1.3 per user in the third quarter.
Bing was also the No. 1 search engine on mobile devices in the U.S. for the fourth time in 2017.
